Channel Stevie Nicks in Andi Bagus – Or Crochet Swim Dupes! – Caitlyn Sway

I wasn’t familiar with Andi Bagus until my friend/photographer Kevin brought this white crochet cover up along on our last photoshoot.

When you worry about your diet and work out as often as I do, you don’t spend a lot of time looking at crochet beach cover ups!

But as soon as I saw the skirt, I knew I wanted to shoot it, so we made sure to get a few shots in at the beach.

I still can’t quite put my finger on what about it made me think of Stevie Nicks…

But when I was growing up, my friend’s Mom used to swear I was the spitting image of the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman when she was younger.

I don’t know if I see it these days, but the association is strong in my mind.

Plus, I think it’s the style… there’s something distinctly gypsy-esque about crochet swimwear, don’tcha think?

I checked their website and was thrilled to find even more sexy crochet accents from the Bali swimwear brand.

But it’s not just Andi Bagus, and it’s not just swimwear…

Bell sleeves, black leather jackets, high waisted pants, tie up blouses, feathers, fringe, and turqouise accessories…

Fashion is feeling pretty seventies these days isn’t it?

I’m certainly not complaining!

Well guys, I looked all over and unfortunately I wasn’t able to find a place for you to buy the same exact Andi Bagus beach cover up (though they have some other wonderful crochet swimsuits in stock right now!)

It’s such a funny coincidence, because I did find the product page for the skirt, and although it’s sold out, it’s even listed on their site as the Stevie Skirt!

Like most designer fashion brands, Andi Bagus will change it’s stock seasonally, so you may have to improvise if you want to re-create this sort of look.
