Brunch in Miami Beach – Review: Essensia

Sunday Brunch at Essensia Restaurant

The Palms Hotel and Spa

Known for it’s farm-to-table ingredients and gourmet dining experience, Essensia is probably my number one favorite brunch spot on Miami Beach.

Not only is the Sunday brunch menu particularly impressive, but they also offer a tremendous breakfast buffet every day—

But get there early, ’cause it’s only available from 7am – 11am.

The typical Essensia brunch spread. Clockwise from left: the Brunch Burger, Cornbread, Steak and Eggs, and French Toast Bread Pudding.

The serving sizes at Essensia Miami are generous which justifies the gourmet price tag.

The beauty of having brunch at The Palms Hotel is that you get to enjoy your meal in the luxurious atmosphere of a 4-star hotel without all the added costs of being a guest…

Just one of the many perks of being a Miami Beach local.

And it doesn’t hurt that The Palms Hotel is walking distance from the apartment.

A different Essensia trip. From left to right: French Toast Bread Pudding, the Brunch Burger, and Lemon Poppy Seed Quinoa Pancakes.

If I had to choose a single top favorite dish at Essensia Restaurant, the French Toast Bread Pudding (shown in both pictures above) would probably be it.

As the name suggests, it’s the texture of bread pudding with the distinct taste of french toast.

It’s one of the smaller dishes meant for sharing, but just enough to add something sweet to an otherwise savory meal.
